Lake Mburo National Park is a magical savanna safari park, straddling in Kiruhura, Isingiro and Mbarara districts Western Uganda. It is the most accessible wildlife safari park from Entebbe about 290kms, Kampala, about 240kms and 30kms from Mbarara city. Originally, this protected area served as a controlled hunting area since 1933 till 1963 when it became a game reserve and in 1983, it was gazetted as a national park.
